CAIRO, Egypt
The draws for the
quarterfinals of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup were successfully conducted
on Wednesday in Cairo, Egypt.
The draw event was conducted
by former Ghanaian footballer Samuel Opoko Nti with the supervision of CAF
Competitions Director Samson Adamu.
Young Africans from Tanzania
were pitted against Nigerian outfit Rivers United.
To reach the quarterfinals,
Young Africans from Tanzania topped Group D on goal difference ahead of US
Monastir from Tunisia.
Rivers United on the other
hand finished second in group Group B behind ASEC Mimosas from Ivory Coast.
In the other quarterfinal
fixtures, Pyramids from Egypt will face Marumo Gallants from South Africa.
US Monastir have been pitted
against ASEC Mimosas while USM Alger will take on AS FAR Rabat.
The quarterfinals games will
be played between 23rd -30th April 2023.
