China is continuing to get international help in the fight against the deadly coronavirus.
In Kenya, members the Hebei and Chinese Chamber of Commerce rallied together to send much need supplies to Wuhan and other Chinese cities.
The business-men used their combined experience to organize the delivery of the supplies. In addition to sending supplies to China they also donated face-masks, and goggles to Kenya airways.
The Chairperson of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Zhuo Wu, said the donations would help fill the much needed supply gap resulting from the reduction in production, prompted by the holiday season.
“Today we come to send some medical supplies to China because of the coronavirus breaks in China that’s why we want to send some very urgently medical supplies to China. We are sending to China because of these days China is in public holiday. There is no factory working, so the stock is not enough especially for this coronavirus break. Most of the hospitals they don’t have enough stock. We buy from Kenya market and send there,” Zhuo said.
