KYIV, Ukraine
Ukraine has the potential to export 43 million tons of grain in the 2024-2025 marketing year, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported Thursday, citing Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Vitaliy Koval.
In particular, Ukraine is
expected to supply 25 million tons of corn and 16.2 million tons of wheat
overseas, Koval said.
"It is very important to
ensure that foreign markets receive Ukrainian products. And not only
agricultural raw products, but goods with added value, processed
products," he noted.
In the 2023-2024 marketing
year, which ended on June 30, Ukraine exported more than 50 million tons of
grain, including 29.3 million tons of corn and 18.4 million tons of
wheat.
